Talk Therapy

Making the unconscious conscious by connecting mind, body, and soul

Have you been experiencing inexplicable anxiety around certain areas of your life? Do you feel like everything looks okay on the outside, however, you often sink into bouts of depression? Is your mood all over the place, wreaking havoc on your career, relationships, and well-being?

What if all of your mental and emotional struggles were responses to subconscious traumas and conflicts?

Growing up in a world that is built on violence, inequalities, and profit over principle, most of us end up walking into adulthood with a suitcase of trauma and internalized fears. Unfortunately, the majority of this trauma stays hidden in our subconscious. Yet, despite being tucked away in our subconscious,

"the body keeps the score." - Bessel van der Kolk

I help you cultivate a mind-body connection by taking a compassionate journey within.

My holistic, trauma-informed approach to talk therapy is inspired by my teacher, Gabor Mate, who takes a Compassionate Inquiry approach. This technique facilitates a gentle unearthing of your subconscious programming, childhood memories, and hidden traumas to make sense of the struggles you face on a daily basis. I combine this with somatics, also known as body-based therapy, to help clients have a more embodied experience, connecting their conscious and subconscious thoughts with their bodies.

Together, we will create a safe and supportive space for you to explore all the deepest parts of you and unlock a more profound understanding of your inner landscape. Throughout my experience, I have found that this is the most powerful method for helping clients identify the underlying causes of their struggles with a compassionate lens while going beyond what is on the surface.

"Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes" - Carl Jung

As we move through talk therapy, you will...

  • get to the root of what is keeping you from living your best life

  • enlighten your understanding of who you are and why you act the way you do

  • develop a sense of self-compassion, allowing yourself to make mistakes without beating yourself up over them

  • cultivate mindfulness practices that will help regulate your nervous system and bring balance back into your life

  • find healing in the stories of your life, understanding what has brought you to where you are

Finding your way through the suffering and discomfort is the first step toward uncovering a life of peace, joy, and fulfillment.

Depending on your needs, we will curate a combination of talk therapy, somatics, and psychedelic journeys (if desired) to help you find your way through the mud and toward your very own lotus blossom.
